A FLORAL & EVENT DESIGN STUDIO
We are a tight knit team of creative individuals, who love what we do.
With over two decades of experience in the floral and event industries, we have formed longstanding relationships with the best growers and floral distributors, event planners, and industry creatives in the area.
Our beautiful, light filled studio located in the Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, is our creative home. The studio provides ample production space as well as a welcoming environment to host clients for collaborative design meetings, or the occasional floral class.
Loop provides exceptional floral design for events, weddings, and weekly accounts. We are passionate about flowers, love what we do, and find so much joy in working together as a team to bring your unique visions to life.

Owner + Creative Director
As a Bay Area native raised rolling down Highway 1 to Big Sur and taking annual trips to Yosemite, Anna developed a deep appreciation for nature at a young age. Her floral background began with a bit of luck in 2001 while she was a college student studying Art & Design at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, when she was hired at a local favorite floral shop, Open Air Flowers. She soon realized that floral design was the perfect intersection of nature, art, and design, and after over 20 years in the industry, it has come to feel like home.
Anna has worked with some of the Bay Area’s most talented designers over the years, including her mentor, Mary Lois Hare. She gained invaluable experience during a year-long internship in London in 2007, where she worked with world-renowned floral designer Paula Pryke. Anna is inspired by her many great teachers (turned friends) as well as the meaningful relationships she develops with her clients and trusted event partners.

Production Manager
Back in high school when she took her first job working at a flower shop, little did Lauren know that all roads would lead back to floral design. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a BLA & Horticulture Minor, she spent her career as a Landscape Architect designing public spaces and building exquisite private gardens. But after 15 years, it was time for a change: a cross-country move and to reconnect with flowers.
In 2021 Lauren became a member of the Loop family and quickly embraced the role of production manager. Her work is rooted firmly in the design principles & hands-on knowledge honed in her Landscape Architectural career.
When she’s not designing, you can regularly find Lauren fawning over the neighborhood dogs, oogling the classic cars regularly parked outside the studio & relentlessly trying to master the art of layering for the San Francisco climate.

Designer + Production Lead
From foraging leaves and flowers to create holiday tablescapes at her grandparents’ house as a child to pursuing her first apprenticeship in the floral industry in 2015, Mari has always sought ways to incorporate the natural beauty around her into her work.
After working for a San Francisco-based floral tech startup, Mari dove headfirst into Loop’s 2018 summer wedding season for an immersive transition to the world of event design. She’s inspired by the bounty, colors, and textures of each season, and her beautiful work reflects the creativity at the core of every Loop design.

Like a bee, David has found his way back to flowers.
Beginning in his teens at Ah Sam Florist in San Mateo, and continuing with Fiori Flowers throughout the Bay Area, David gained invaluable experience learning much about the beauty and hard work required to run a successful flower company. After jaunts as a licensed boat captain, commercial fisherman, and many years working as an occupational therapist, David has found himself, once again, in full circle with Loop Flowers.
David is the nourishing force behind Loop Flower Garden, supplying high quality organic flowers from our farm in Sonoma County to Loop, as well as other Bay Area floral designers. Multitalented and full of creativity, when he is not in the garden, David doubles as ‘Captain Good Vibes’ in the studio. During our busy months he can often be found helping us Tetris loading box trucks, fabricating custom props for our events, or meticulously helping to place table designs on site, measuring tape in hand.
